Anyone feel free to join in.. This idea just came into my head, and wouldn't leave me alone! I decided to write out a few paragraphs, post, and see what became of it =]

The pale fingers of Isis's left hand moved to the edge of his desk, where they slid along the cheap wood until they managed to find a place where the underside wasn't entirely coated in sticky gum. He gripped, biting his lip as he did so --eyes shifting back and forth, and then up and down. They finally settled on the clock in the upper right corner of the room. He was content to stare at it for fifty-two minutes, until it hit ten to twelve. That was fine with him --anything to keep from looking at his crush who now sat in the desk in front of him.

The abrupt decision to switch up seats had been due to the rowdy boys in the back, and Mr. Brown's quick temper. Isis was torn between giving his greying teacher a look of thanks, and a look of sheer misery. He was hardly lacking either emotion at the moment. In fact, both were nearly overwhelming. While he was glad to sit behind his secret crush, whom he'd never even talked to, he was also quite embarrassed. He felt as though the whole world could read him like a book now.

"Mmmm.." Isis practically whimpered, straining his dull green eyes to focus on the sluggish ticking of the clock. The boy in the seat in front of him shifted, probably to make himself more comfortable. And of course, Isis noticed it.

He frowned. Lunch seemed a long way away.

Damn.. Can somebody move to Self Plot rp? n.n;; *doh*

Vivi, the new girl who'd only been in school about two weeks had been trying to pay attention to the teacher but couldn't. she looked up at the clock yet again, hating how time seemed to move even slower when you wanted nothing more than it to just skip over two or three minutes...or an hour...
She'd made some friends in her other classes and wanted to go and talk to them, see what the latest gossip was, and maybe even get some ice-cream with that one boy she'd eyed in her last class...

Mr. Brown slapped his ruler on his desk, trying to summon the childrens attention. "And therefore, if you add something, the amount becomes bigger." He began to write a simple equation on the board. It read, "2 + 1 =" he turned back around, repositioning his glasses on his nose. "Any volunteers?"

Isis hardly noticed Mr. Brown, as he was still staring intently at the clock in the corner of the room. He frowned to himself as the seconds hand inched it's way past the big fat five, inwardly wishing it to move as fast as it could. His eyes moved back to the boy in front of him, very briefly, before he resumed staring intently at the numbers on the clock.

A frown moved across his face as he realize he couldn't stare forever. His eyes dropped again from the white and black numbers, moving over to look at the girl a few seats away. He'd seen her a few times before, and vaguely remembered her being introduced to the class a few weeks ago. A bit of a smile came across his face as he caught her gaze for a brief moment.

The girl snorted before she could stop herself, as did most of the class, they were really going over ADDITION? She turned to share a disbelieving look with some other students, wondering why one of the boys wasn't trying his hardest not to laugh. She concluded he might be one of those guys who where so well behaved they didn't even snicker at some of the stupid things teachers said. She looked away, back to the front getting ready to raise her hand as soon as she'd figured out a sly remark.

Mr. Brown tisked. "Now one? THen maybe I should spice up the equation on the board." He erased it, then put, "y=42x-4.5+5 1/2" in it's place. He turned around, waiting for a hand to rise. "Is it solvable on a slope, or is it not?"

PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME SOLVE THIS. But I do know the answer, and I know Ar does. But do YOU?

Isis looked down at his hands after a moment of trying and failing to get the girl to his left's attention. He blinked upon realizing that the tendons in his hands stood out and his knuckles were white. His hands ached faintly as he slackened his grip, briefly looking at the boy in the seat in front of him. The frown on his face deepened as he wished that Mr. Brown would move him someplace far away, preferably to the back of the room. He could hardly stand being so near his crush, because naturally, when you feel strongly about something, you think that everybody else can see how you're feeling too.

Absolutely not! I hate math! XD I'd have to pull out my worksheets from this year to solve it

the girl lowered her head, as the class quickly quieted, she began doodling and making up half-stories for the chibi's she created. her low self esteem told her to shut up--she didn't know anything about math, why try? she'd pass anyway, she turned in all her homework, she'd at least get a c. sorry for the short reply, frustrated with having already typed up the same paragraph twice

Isis looked up at the clock for the fifth time that minute, wishing that it'd magically move faster. He wore a somewhat miserable expression across his face, but he tried to hide it by casually bringing his hands up to smooth his chestnut colored hair over his eyes. It wasn't difficult with the length he'd aquired --shorter in the back, up to the nape, and then down to his shoulders in the front.

XD! I should post some pics of Vivi.... her hair's like that too The girl scribbled her drawings frantically, hoping that the faster she drew, the faster the gears of the of the clock would make the subtle ticking of the clock go. she eventually got frustrated with the chibi she couldn't quite get to look like her, she put her pencil down and covered it with her hand, shaking her black hair out of her face.

Isis blinked, looking over at the girl in the desk beside him. He inwardly sighed in relief as he was given a reason not to look at his crush anymore. Instead, he turned his focus to the girl's antics, which seemed a bit unusual. She looked frusterated. As Isis let his eyes move down to her desk, he assumed that it was probably a math problem, since he couldn't see the doodle, which her hand was currently over.

She tapped her manicured fingers on her notebook, glaring at the clock as if all her problems where because if it. She felt eyes on her and looked over to the boy-- was he still looking at her or was her tapping that loud? She stilled her fingers, continuing to gaze at him. the rest of the class was mostly looking like they where paying attention to the teacher, and what he would scribble on the board, making answering the questions a competition. The girl smiled at the boy politely and half curiously.

Isis looked at the girl for a moment before hesitantly smiling back, waving his fingers a bit. Engaging in a conversation made up of gestures certainly had the potantial to keep him engaged for the rest of the class, he concluded. His awkward smile turned not so awkward, and he turned a bit in his seat towards her.

she grinned at him, waving back before quietly tearing out the page of chibis, placing her notebook on top of it and writing something on the new page, placing it on his desk when Mr. Brown had his back to the students. 'Hey~ what's your name?' the note read. she turned sideways in her desk, to be more comfortable as she watched the teacher, watching the boy out of the corner of her eye.

Isis turned his eyes up to the teacher to see if he was paying attention, but he paused as the boy in front of him lowered his head lowered slightly, his crush placing his chin on his desk. Isis couldn't help but wonder if the blond was going to fall asleep, and if he did, if he'd dream --and if he dreamed, what would it be about? Would it be about him?

Fat chance. His muse told him. Sighing, he looked back down at the note on his desk. Picking up his pencil, he wrote, and then passed it back.

'It's Isis Luptow. What's yours?'

duuuude Blue October...XD Vivi followed his gaze to the boy in front, then wrote, not caring if the teacher saw her writing, she was technically taking notes... just not the kind he wanted. she grinned, placing the paper back on his desk with a freindly smile so he wouldn't take the last sentence harshly, but instead curiously as she'd meant it. 'haha, unique XD. mine's Vivi Carabella. Are you gay?' she'd never been one to hide questions unless they were totally inappropriate.
